 Environmental Issues Burning Through Human Activities

Remembering the old times, very old times, where population was less and our natural resources were fresh enough to be used for. There was a proper space of environments to be used for many upcoming generations. Gradually developments and progressions on the field of lifestyle, science and technologies, constructions, including many other ideas and innovations lead to a nice and comfortable world, but fail to use resources  of the nature in a healthier and sustainable way. This is the most big  problem running  in all countries worldwide. This has been a mandatory subject to be aware and teach for every individuals hoping and aiming to take development works and environment in a balanced way. The recent news of global warming and climate change  are a gain of  negative impacts of human activities in the nature.

Today , in this blog, we are knowing those human activities that are leading a distraction to our environments which we may be conscious of or not .

Over-population is a major cause for the disrupt of resources. Nature and its resources are limited but population is not. The world is growing mass of population day by day. Each person will use the same resource and thus the resources becomes scarce in a sense. For that, a new kinds of  artificial alternatives are applied to make it available for everybody and indirectly some negative impacts are left in the  place. 

Deforestation ( the act of cutting down of trees or plants) is also the another big cause for creating many harmful effects on nature. Humans do this for survival, to earn money. Different sorts of works accomplishment  like mining and  paper industry cause deforestation. For ranching of animals , also it is done to provide proper space to animals. For urbanization purpose  also, large forests areas  are destructed, which seems nice way for developments but is bad for  the sustainable living. Deforestation causes many effects thereby continuously such as soil erosion, pollution, poisoning from mining waste, desertification, etc. It also addresses many social problems such as many huge conflicts about land issues and natural resources, cultures are hindered and ethnic and racial rights seems to be disturbed.

Urbanization is a trending cause for the negative impact on environment. Like I already mentioned above,for the development view ,it sounds great as we can enrich many economic benefits by doing proper establishment of industries, modern areas, production approaches,etc; but from environmental views we can only find destructions as trees are cut and all the resources are somehow collpased. We can see the pollutions rising up in the air , water and land resources.Soil erosion , soil infertility and global warming becomes addressed.

More use of pesticides and fertilizers in our agricultural lands for faster and large cultivation of crops are also a direct source creating a problem in our nature.On the stress of growing population on one hand and maintaining proper food security on the other hand, pesticides use are increasing rapidly.These pesticides are very harmful interms of both human health and land resources. Many people have even died by the consumption of pesticides loaded crops. Pesticides included crops are not beneficial , cause many diseases such as cancer,eyes problem, infertility in male and female , poisoning ,etc; and in land , erosions ,less fertility , water pollution, are seen. We can easily apply other eco-friendly approaches such as genetic controls, Integrated Pest Management, biological controls,etc.

Nuclear pollution are threats to environment. There are many radioactive substances that integrates with living organisms in the environment. Many of such radioactive substances are created by human activity itself in the formation of nuclear weapons, atom bombs and formation of nuclear power plants. It causes many somatic effects such a harm in cell membranes, mitochondria and cell nuclei and induces abnormal cell functions. Genetic effects are also seen such as mutations are caused by those radiations and many people also become a victim of blood and bone cancer if exposed in large rates than normal.

Waste disposal plays a important role in civilized society. The more rate of population, more harder is to manage the waste products. There are different kinds of wastes such as hazardous wastes, municipal wastes , industrial wastes and hospital wastes. Some of these wastes are less affectable while some of them are dangerous for living organisms. So in order to maintain proper sanitation and lead a environmental friendly life, wastes should be properly managed and the theme, "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" must be applied by each individual.

Thus, these are some human activities making our nature and its resource into degradable situation day by day. We really should carry  steps for protecting our environment first , since we belong there.
